The big fish today was caught by John Kulick and Bill Barnes and weighed 5.40 lbs.

It was a windy day on the Potomac with a 15 mph southern breeze. Air temperatures started in the low 70s and heated up into the 90s by the end of the tournament. Water temperatures ranged from the upper 60s to the upper 70s and was stained to muddy. High tide was at 9:26 am at Leesylvania State Park.

For the few boaters that went down to Aquia Creek, it was a rough ride back to weigh in. The outgoing tide and the southern breeze built up a decent swell on the main river.
